All the programmes run by Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (Formerly, Uttar Pradesh Technical University), Lucknow. Admission to various programmes is made as per the rules and regulations of AICTE, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and State Govt.

Hostels

RKGIT has 8 hostels—2 for girls and 6 for boys—offering single, double, and triple seater rooms with full furnishings like beds, study tables, almirahs, and more. An AC boys' hostel is available from 2nd year onwards. Hostels have 24/7 power backup, seasonal hot/cold water, and separate vegetarian messes for boys and girls. A modern indoor stadium has been recently developed. The campus is highly secure with round-the-clock security. Ambulance and first aid services are available 24/7, and the college is tied up with top hospitals in Ghaziabad. All hostel students are covered under medical insurance up to ₹1,00,000.
