Rajkiya Engineering College Bijnor (REC Bijnor), formerly known as Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Engineering College of Information Technology, was established in 2010 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the Special Component Plan (SCP) to promote technical education among socially and economically weaker sections. The college is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).

About Institutes
It iis established in 2010 by the Uttar Pradesh government, is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and approved by AICTE. It offers B.Tech programs in Civil, Electrical, and IT with 60 seats each. Spread over 5.64 acres, the campus features modern labs, Wi-Fi, a canteen, and hostel facilities. Admissions are through JEE Main/UPTAC, with fees ranging from ₹1.45–1.91 lakhs. The Training and Placement Cell supports skill development, with top packages up to ₹7 LPA. Recruiters include BYJU'S and TCS.

These programs cover areas such as soft skills, personality development, presentation skills, confidence building, goal setting, interpersonal skills, interview techniques, group discussions, team building, business etiquette, aptitude ability, and work ethics.
In the 2022-2023 placement season, several students secured positions with leading companies. For instance, students from the Information Technology branch were placed at TCS with packages ranging from ₹3.36 LPA to ₹7 LPA. Additionally, companies like BYJU'S and Zoho Corporation offered packages of ₹7 LPA and ₹4.7 LPA, respectively.
